Since she was a child, Lorena has been enamored with the power of great stories to inspire action. Her stories seek to do the same, highlighting solutions that build reciprocal relationships between people and the planet.

Whether Lorena is writing a grant, herding sheep, filming a story, or plunging hands in soil, her labors of love prioritize Indigenous sovereignty and community-based solutions for collective liberation.

Her greatest teachers of the Land have been Native campesinos (farmers) across Latin America. Lorena is currently based in Chile, where she writes stories and works on land restoration organization Proyecto Regeneremos with her love.
